Description

The Rosetown Housing Authority (RTHA) board is recruiting a manager to oversee the operations.  RTHA manages a portfolio of 105 units which includes 64 senior and 41 housing units and oversees an annual estimated operating budget of $600K.  

The Ideal Candidate:
- Loves working with people, building relationships, and has superb communication skills.  
- Thrives on change and multi-tasking is second nature.  
- Has a background in social work, psychology, human services, or a similar field along with three to five years related management experience: OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Brings board experience either reporting to or sitting on a board.
- Has managed an annual operating budget and developed supporting operational plans.
- Is familiar with the tendering process.  
- Is comfortable using computerized accounting such as JD Edwards, or similar, and is skilled using MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and TEAMS.  
- Has experience coaching and supervising staff and can maintain good working relationships with contractors to ensure properties are safe and secure for tenants.    
- Works in partnership with Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, Regional Operations, and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve win-win solutions.  
- Is experienced at processing payroll and related remittances.
- Most of all, wants to make a difference in the community, while respecting and embracing diversity.
