Description

Summary
The laborer position is responsible for assisting foreman and operator/lead hands in performing daily tasks including but not limited to shoveling, attaching backreamers, pulling heads and set up of pull back pipe, cleaning of equipment and tools.

Required Qualifications/Experience:
Previous experience in the construction industry an asset.
Mechanically inclined with knowledge of hand/power tools and cnstruction materials.
Attention to detail and initiative to be self-motivated and directed.
Ability to listen, follow directions and communicate effectively.
Ability to manage time and work independently or with other team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures, bringing concerns to the
attention of the foreman.
Maintain condition, functionality and use of proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
at all times.
Must be able to lift heavy objects, walk and stand of long periods of time while
performing physical labor possibly under adverse conditions.
Must be reliable and able to work well with a crew or independently.
Travel as required to project sites.
Other assigned duties by leadership team.
