The First Nations University of Canada is seeking applications for two (2) elected leaders and one (1) non elected member to serve a three-year term on the Board of Governors [BOG].

Qualifications:
The Selection Committee will endeavour to select a BOG that reflects collective expertise in the following areas:
Governance
Financial Management
Academic (University Policy)
Academic (Education Administration)
First Nations Education (15+ years teaching experience)
Institutional Fund Development
Corporate Law
Labour Relations
Community Based Traditional Knowledge Keeper or Educator (knowledge about Indigenous Governance, Language, and Traditional Knowledge)

The applications should include a cover letter clearly stating the areas of expertise and reasons for interest along with a curriculum vitae or resume. In order to maintain the integrity, honour, and dignity of the BOG, a Criminal Records Check will be required, and reference checks will be completed.
