The Authority serves a total student population of approximately 1,300+ students. The Authority is working toward improved educational outcomes by utilizing the latest technology, progressively piloting programs, and integrating Denesuline culture into the classroom and school curriculum.

The ADEA is seeking a competent, confident, motivated individual to fill the position of Grade One Teacher at Father Gamache Memorial School, located in Fond Du Lac, Saskatchewan. To qualify for this position, you will need to have a Bachelors Degree in Education or equivalent and must be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. Experience in teaching First Nations students at a remote community and have First Aid Certification would be an asset (we pay provide training upon hire). The successful candidate will be required to relocate to the community.

This competition is open to all applicants who reside in Canada; and preference will be given to First Nation or other Indigenous applicants who possess the qualifications, knowledge, and skills to meet the minimum suitability requirements as stated for the position.
