Description

MGBHLM is seeking a self-motivated Jordans Principle Intake Worker who will work closely with the Jordans Principle Coordinator and the Jordans Principle Assistant. This will be a one-year Full Time Temporary position  it will be mix of office based and work from home.
They will be responsible for assisting program staff to provide a full range of services including but not limited to processing approved cash management requests, maintain professional relationship with families, team members and other agencies to provide required services, provide administrative support services to the coordinator and assistant, develop and coordinate administrative tasks available for all case files.

Duties:
Receive incoming referrals for Jordans Principle from community members, collateral agencies, and professionals.
Educate families about communities supports which may assist and supplement the services they receive from Jordans Principle.
Determine needs of child based on request and forward referrals to JP assistant and Coordinator
Gathering demographic and pertinent information to develop clients intake file.
Data entry and record keeping for annual reports.
Provide afterhours coverage for Jordans Principle clients.
To perform other duties as assigned by the Jordans Principle Service Coordinator.
Provide support, guidance, and be a resource to the Jordans Principle team, First Nations families, etc.
Review and prioritize incoming correspondence directed to the Jordans Principle team, reroute or photocopy as appropriate and/or attach pertinent files or related correspondence
Maintain organized filing system
Ensures appropriate follow up on tasks and assignments delegated by the Jordans Principle team
Perform other duties as assigned by the Jordans Principle team
