Description

On behalf of the Saskatchewan Housing Corporation, Living Skies Housing Authority (LSHA) provides operational, financial, and building management training and mentorship to a network of housing authorities across the province who deliver housing programs and manage provincial housing assets.  

The Area Manager has a lead role in overseeing the allocation of financial resources, ensuring best use of limited resources, preparing and delivering governance and operational training to housing boards and managers, overseeing management agreements and providing recommendations on future programming to best meet the needs of our communities.  

If you have a background in property management, an acumen for budget and financial analysis, post-secondary education in Business Administration/Commerce, along with several years management and supervisory experience, we would love to hear from you!    

We are looking for knowledge, skills and abilities to include:

-B. Admin/Commerce with 5 + years management experience OR an equivalent combination of housing/human services experience and education.
-A proven track record of developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders including boards, community leaders, tenants and service providers.
-Demonstrated experience with tendering and contract negotiations.
-Ability to work through complex problems, with number of complicated variables and agencies, all taking place in a changing environment.
-Superior written and oral communication skills, comfortable with delivering presentations, public speaking and training.
-Working knowledge of the acts and regulations affecting landlord-tenant relations.
-A Certified Property Management (CPM) designation is an asset.
-Overnight travel is required along with a vehicle for company use.

LSHA offers a compensation package including benefits and pension.

A satisfactory Criminal Check is required, upon hire.
