Description

Good Neighbours Food Centre (GNFC) is a non-profit organization that provides food security programming (including the
grocery store model Food Bank) to communities within a 50km radius of Rosthern. Accountable to the Board of Directors,
the Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the coordination of the day-to-day operations of GNFC. GNFC is
seeking a positive, engaged & engaging individual with exceptional people skills & organizational skills to join our team.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Commitment to building a food secure community. Demonstrate a warm, welcoming and
collaborative atmosphere toward all who enter GNFC. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to
build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and
community partners. Excellent leadership skills, with a track record of leading, developing, and mentoring staff and
volunteers. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and financial oversight. Ability to work
independently and to manage a variety of projects concurrently. Knowledge of the community & surrounding areas.

DUTIES: Align all work with the Strategic Plan. Build community capacity. Write grants and complete reporting. Develop
and implement fundraising strategies. Create annual budget. Track and monitor expenditures. Hire and oversee
employees. Develop and nurture partnerships with stakeholders. Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's
licence, Vehicle, Ability to to lift reasonable weight, Criminal record & vulnerable sector record check.

Education: High school diploma, Undergraduate degree in social science, community development or a related field
