The La Ronge and Area Long Term Care Fundraising Committee Inc. is a not-for-profit organization established in 2022 by the Northern Village of Air Ronge, the Town of La Ronge, the Lac La Ronge Indian Band, and the La Ronge and District Chamber of Commerce to coordinate a multi-million dollar fundraising campaign to purchase furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the areas new 80 bed Long-Term Care (LTC) facility. The Fundraising Coordinator reports to the committee board and is responsible for:
Implementing the fundraising plan.
Donor solicitation and relationship management. This includes:
o planning and coordinating strategic and meaningful appeals, campaigns, and activities to engage new and existing donors.
o documenting and tracking funding commitments.
o monitoring and reporting on fundraising progress.
o researching, evaluating, and recommending fundraising opportunities.
Maintaining an online presence to promote activities and acknowledge donors.
Budgeting and basic financial management.
Adhering to the fundraising terms as set out in the SHA Fundraising Agreement.
Performing day-to-day administrative duties of the Committee.
The Fundraising Coordinator will have knowledge of and experience with:
Planning and executing special events.
Working with various stakeholders and volunteers in a cross-cultural environment.
Office software applications.
