Job Summary:
The Vice President of Business Development will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Trailtech, a leading trailer manufacturing company specializing in both standard and custom-built trailers. The VP of Business Development will lead strategic initiatives aimed at expanding our market presence, product offerings, and partnerships. This role will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities through geographic expansion, developing new product lines, and fostering strategic alliances. The VP will work closely with the executive team and report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities:
    Strategic Growth & Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new geographic markets, both domestically and internationally, to drive sales and grow the company's dealer network and direct sales channels.
    Product Line Development: Collaborate with the R&D and engineering teams to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities to expand and enhance the companys product offerings.
    Partnership & Alliance Building: Forge strategic partnerships with dealers, distributors, suppliers, and other key industry stakeholders to enhance the companys market position and drive business development efforts.
    Custom Trailer Solutions: Work with enterprise customers to understand their unique needs and develop custom trailer solutions that align with their business objectives.
    Dealer & Enterprise Sales Support: Support the dealer network and direct enterprise sales by developing sales strategies, providing market insights, and improving customer engagement.
    Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, market penetration, and cross-selling opportunities.
    Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
