Our goal is to staff a Chef position in Northern Saskatchewan. TO START ASAP
Who you are:
- You are a passionate foodie and a strong team leader.
- You are a Red Seal Chef (preferably).
- You pay attention to detail and have excellent time management.
- You go above and beyond to provide a great experience for our guests.
What you will do:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a culinary team.
- You will manage food costs and inventory.
- Maintain standards for food safety, food storage, rotation, quality and appearance.
Job Requirements - Let's not waste your time:
- Experience with kitchen management within the service industry.
- Jobs require shift work at remote sites - mining facilities & exploration camps.
- The work schedules are 2 weeks in-and-out rotations.
- You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
- Knowledge of Vegan, Halal and Gluten allergy variation cooking skills.
- Good knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word, Excel, Camp Manager programs.
- Valid Driver's license preferred.
- Current First responder certificate would be an asset.
- You must be a team leader, who works well with others.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a larger team.
- Customer relation skills.
