Description

What youll accomplish:
-Assists with the conception and development of exploration programs and budgets (P&B)
-Supervises geophysical staff; organizes, distributes and prioritizes tasks for an efficient and successful geophysical program
-Ensures that contracts are properly tendered. permits and/or work authorizations have been received, and acts as Contract Administrator as required
-Maintain positive relationships with local communities
-Responsible for the quality, pertinence, accuracy and the completeness of the data
-Will make regular field visits and ensure the work completed by contractors meet the terms of contract agreements
-Co-ordinate in-house crews to conduct geophysical surveys
-Collects and interprets field and research data to produce maps, sections, tables, etc.
-Ensures that all documents (geoscience, SHEQ), are prepared on time and periodically presented to Exploration staff
-Shares  written and verbal updates on P&B, including results and interpretations (Assessment reports, Joint Venture meetings for example)
-Contributes to internal R&D initiatives that focus on improvement of geophysical processing applications and workflows
    
Qualities and skills:
-Degree in geophysics (and geology preferred) with a minimum of 5 years mineral exploration experience
-Registered as a Professional Geoscientist or Engineer with APEGS
-Must have an understanding of the geology of uranium prospects and deposits

Work Location & Schedule:
-Saskatoon
-Occasional travel to various project locations (Approx. 10%)
