The FHQTC White Raven Healing Centre was established to provide an integrated approach to self-healing with a focus on holistic mental health and wellness program models.
REPONSIBILITIES:
-Greeting clients and visitors in a friendly way and directing them to the appropriate staff.
-Answering phones, take messages, respond to / refer requests for basic information.
-Responsible for maintaining an inventory of all supplies, equipment and furnishings for the Centre.
-Assist in compiling and/or coordination of reports required for the programs.
-Responsible for typing minutes for relevant meetings and scheduling meetings on behalf of the Centre
-Booking meetings, facilities for meetings, workshop; including all required meeting materials, catering and audiovisual equipment.
-Filing, typing, photocopying, faxing, emails, review and sort incoming/outgoing mail.
-Support the Centres teams as they develop and deliver in person virtual workshops.
-Maintenance of a filing system in accordance with Centre.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
-Office Administration Diploma or certificate
-2 years minimal experience providing administrative support within an Indigenous mental health and addictions environment.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES
-Establish and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
-Excellent interpersonal, communication, administrative and organizational capabilities
-Knowledge of computer programs such as word, Microsoft, excel, Internet and email.
-Excellent time management skills
-Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of disciplinary team
-Punctual and dependable with a strong ability to adjust priorities to meet current needs of clients, First Nations, the Centre and FHQTC
