Description

WRT EQUIPMENT LTD. designs, manufactures and distributes construction equipment products used by contractors in road related construction. WRT Equipment manufactures aggregate equipment including portable cone, jaw and screen plants, feeders, gravel semi-trailers, and conveyors.

Position Overview
The Assembler reports to the Mechanical Foreman and works closely with the plant manager, foreman and plant staff to effectively fulfill his/her responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the quality of worked performed.
Responsible for participating in the Health and Safety Program.
Responsible for participating in training sessions.
Duties
Read blueprints, requisition all hardware and components required for assembly
Assemble components according to proper procedure
Inspect components to specification
Test run components when required
Follow all procedures involved in the QA program and actively participate
Clean shop on a daily basis
Work safely, being mindful of others and their safety as well
Report to his foreman or the production manager as required
Be willing to work in other areas of production as the need arises
Be responsible for the quality level of work that he does
Complete job tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Ensure shop is kept clean and tidy on a regular basis.

Requirements
Must have some experience in the heavy industrial mechanical trade and possess some natural ability with mechanical assembly
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to work alone or in a team setting.
Ability to take on multiple projects at one time.
Must hold and maintain a Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
