NSC Minerals Ltd. was established in 1988, Since then, we have grown to become a major supplier of minerals, such as Salt and Calcium Chloride in Western Canada and the North and Midwest regions of the United States. In 2020, NSC was purchased by Stone Canyon Industry Holdings and we are now part of a larger group of companies that includes Windsor Salt and Morton Salt.

Our head office is located in Saskatoon, SK and we have operating plants in Rocanville, SK, Vanscoy, SK and Brooks, AB. We have a packaging plant just outside of Saskatoon, SK and bulk inventory storage in Alberta and Manitoba. Along with our focus on safety and the environment, we have a dedicated employee base, solid logistics network and a committed customer base.

We are looking for a Plant Maintenance position at our Rocanville, SK facility which is near the Nutrien Potash Mine, located 230km east of Regina on Highway 1.

Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring equipment on site is in good working order including repairing, fabricating and replacing equipment as needed. Performs inspections and preventative maintenance in compliance with safety standards and equipment specifications. The incumbent works with others on site to ensure maintenance is completed efficiently while minimizing downtime.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience maintaining equipment in an industrial or agricultural setting. Preference will be given to ticketed millwrights or industrial mechanics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others on site
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Ability to work outdoors in all seasons
- Strong time management and organization skills
