Suncrest College is currently accepting applications for a Manager, Adult Education, Essential Skills & ESL to join our team. This position may be based out of any of our campus locations (with a preference for Nipawin or Melfort) and will be commencing as soon as possible.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Manager, Adult Education, Essential Skills & English as a Second Language (ESL) oversees the operational planning, establishment, execution, & evaluation of Adult Education, Essential Skills & Employment Readiness, & ESL programs for Suncrest College. This includes the management of program planning & evaluation, preparation, implementation of budgets & targets, & supervision of staff.
The successful candidate will lead the research, consultation, implementation, & planning process to establish new or modified solutions in support of program development & delivery for online & on-campus learners. This position is also responsible for the strategic planning of Adult Education, Essential Skills, & ESL programming initiatives to ensure they meet the needs of the organization, learners & public. This position will provide leadership in ensuring learner connections to employment & opportunities.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- B.Ed. with knowledge of business management, career & employment training programming, strategy, proposal writing, & analytical research skills.
- 3 years experience providing leadership & supervision in a similar environment within the Education sector or a related public sector.
- Registered or eligible to register & in good standing with SPTRB.
