We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, cleaning windows, repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
Install appliances and equipment.
Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash, snow removal etc
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs.
Evaluating, maintaining, and repairing building systems (electrical, HVAC, elevators, plumbing), infrastructure (doors, windows, walls, roof)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g., fire alarm)
Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
general upkeep and minor repairs
perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance.
Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.
Follows local and state building codes and Complies with all company safety regulations.
Loads and unloads equipment and tools into work vehicles if needed.
Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.

Requirements and skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical stamina and dexterity
Successful completion of an apprenticeship is required
At least one year of building maintenance, construction, plumbing, or electrician experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
A certification in building maintenance is a plus.
Must have a driver's license, clean driving record & criminal record check
