Description

West End Radiators is a leader in the industrial radiator business right here in Saskatchewan. We're seeking a dynamic Shop Hand to join our dedicated team.

You'll be a core team member in the repair and maintenance of our customers radiators.

Key Responsibilities:
Repair and maintain heat exchangers with precision and care, from measuring to buffing.
Support inventory management by organizing and stocking materials.
Keep our shop gleaming by sweeping, disposing of waste, and maintaining spotless workspaces.
Team up with coworkers to tackle tasks and goals effectively.
Safety is our priority! Always adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Cover other roles as needed in the office providing customer service

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills/qualities:
High school equivalency
2 years experience in manufacturing, mechanical or maintenance roles.
Soldering, welding, braising experience and/or knowledge is an asset
Forklift Operator Certification is an asset.
A valid drivers license with a clean record.
prior training in WHMIS and Work Safe training.
Ability to cross train to assist in office using customer service skills
Communication skills that shine (both written and verbal), an energetic and detail-oriented approach, and the ability to start tasks independently.
Basic proficiency in computer use, especially in MS Word and Excel.
Exceptional organizational skills and a knack for thriving in a team-based environment.
Highly organized approach with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and overtime if required
