Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Front End supervision and Cash Office experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Detailed knowledge of the concepts of the file maintenance system and front-end point of sale equipment
Good working knowledge of payroll, invoices, sign-up procedures for new employees and front-end supervision

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Front End Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the front end department including providing management and leadership to the cashiers, office clerks, and service clerks within the store. Ensure operational excellence in retail merchandising, inventory management, and customer relations. Coach and develop the team to provide superior customer service and shopping experiences through execution of strategy, customized for the local market while achieving budgeted financial results. Promote an environment of employee and customer engagement.
To control front-end wage and wrapping costs
To maintain records for uniforms and inventories
To establish and enforce cash handling procedures
To prepare and submit payroll records
To implement training and development programs for front-end staff
To promote the policy of good customer service relations through fast, friendly front-end service
To review and update (as required) front-end security procedures as directed by the Loss Prevention Department
To ensure Health and Safety Legislation, Policies and Practices are followed within the department
To assist in resolving employee personnel related matters
Create a coaching and development culture for all employees, which embraces a passion for food
Demonstrate outstanding leadership, while serving as a role model
Manage direct reports including: selection, orientation, training and development, performance management.
