Description

Indian Breakfast club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality dishes made with the freshest ingredients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in maintaining the standard of food quality, preparation, and presentation that our guests have come to expect.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner and with consistent quality.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for food handling.
Assist with inventory management, including checking deliveries and reporting low stock items.
Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth operation.
Take direction from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef and support them as needed.
Assist in creating new menu items or daily specials as requested.
Qualifications:

0 to 1 year experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant setting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Familiarity with kitchen health and safety regulations.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Culinary diploma or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
