Description

Applications are invited for the position of a regular part-time Head Caretaker at Laird School.  The successful candidate will work 0.625. FTE or 25 hours per week performing general caretaking duties. Laird School is a Kindergarten to Grade 8 School. The school is located in Laird, which is approximately 68km from Saskatoon. This non-union position begins October 21st, 2024. The starting salary for this position is $22.31 per hour.
  
Caretakers work closely with school staff to maintain the school building to the highest standards possible. Our caretaking staff are supported by the division Caretaking Supervisor.

Preference will be given to caretakers who:
Have training and/or experience in the caretaker field;
Place a high premium on safety at all times;
Demonstrate a caring and supportive attitude toward children;
Value communication and collaborative relationships;
Are committed to being flexible in the workplace;
Are committed to positive working relationships.
