Description

Reporting to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager, the Engineering Technologist is required to fulfill the engineering and drafting needs of the mill.

Responsibilities:
Follows all safe work practices and procedures
Preparation of mechanical, civil, and piping drawings
Completion of non-destructive testing
Providing assistance with projects.
Expected to work closely with the maintenance trades
Be willing to conduct field work.


Qualifications:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
Eligible for and maintain membership in SASTT
Proficient computer skills are required, experience with AutoCad considered an asset.
5+ years experience desired in an industrial environment
Highly motivated and able to work independently
Good interpersonal skills as interaction with mill personnel and contractors is essential.
Written communication and oral skills are required
