The YMCA of Regina is an accredited non-profit charity that is open to all, dedicated to building strong kids, strong families, and strong communities. The Health Program Coordinator will oversee a range of specialized health and wellness programs at the facility, including a large research project for pre-diabetic persons called Small Steps for Big Changes. In addition, this role will develop and introduce diverse programs such as cardiac rehabilitation, fitness programming for persons with disabilities, and programs for seniors. These programs will be both internally and externally operated with the goal of reaching the broader Regina community outside of the center. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a passion for health and wellness. Training will be provided for the pre-diabetic research project and this work will encompass a large portion of the role.

Job Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Public Health, or a related field.
* Familiarity with health programming for specialized health populations (pre-diabetic, cardiovascular patients, individuals with physical restrictions/impairment)
* Ability to work flexible hours, programs may run outside of typical business hours including evenings and weekends.
* Criminal Record Check prior to first day of work and dated no more than 3 months before hire date.
