Description

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/PRMC, the Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) primary responsibility is to perform maintenance on turbo prop and turbo jet aircraft systems and equipment; including but not limited to: inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications. In addition to performing day to day maintenance, the successful candidate will also be engaged with the planning and coordination of fleet aircraft maintenance requirements. AMO duties including inventory & tool control, record keeping, and RCA/CAP development and implementation are also part of this role.
Position Profile:
    Must be willing to take responsibility for not only maintaining aircraft to a high standard, but also caring for aircraft interior and exterior cleanliness.
    Work closely with others to ensure aircraft availability and safe return to service where necessary.
    Must be a self-starter and able to work alone.
    Always keep hangar and shop areas presentable to clients.
    Able to work with purchasing to ensure the proper parts are requisitioned.
    Applicants should be willing to participate in team meetings with leadership and stakeholders
    Applicants should posses strong organizational skills.
Hours of work:
    40 Hours/Week
    Hours of work will mainly be Monday to Friday. Weekends and evenings maybe required to accommodate late arrivals and early departures.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
    Posses a valid TCCA AME License with an M1/M2 rating.
    Applicants with previous QA experience considered an asset.
    Prior experience maintaining corporate aircraft considered an asset.
    Experience with stores duties and updating technical records considered an asset.
    Citation 560XL, King Air 300, Garmin and Collins experience considered a strong asset.
    Complete all training required by AMO to acquire ACA.
    Possesses a Valid Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate-Aeronautical.
    Posses a valid class 5 drivers license.
