Under the direction of the VP of Swine Production, the candidate will be responsible for the following:
Supporting mainly the Vice-President, Swine Production and the Director of Production
Coordinate agendas, meetings, appointments, travel;
Drafting and preparing letters, news releases, minutes, presentations and other types of documents including briefs for various government agencies, as well as transcription and formatting of texts of various contracts and agreements;
Help develop and organize corporate activities or events, corporate newsletter, etc.;
Doing follow-up on files under his/her responsibility, and monitoring related timetables;
Coordinate vacations, absences, and/or leaves for employees in the sector;
Updating files, managing various reports & compilation of data;
Donation requests;
Other administrative duties as required.

Education/Experience Required
Diploma or university degree or other equivalent training;
More than 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position;
Proficiency in written and spoken English (French would be an asset);
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
A high degree of autonomy, initiative and interpersonal skills;
Courtesy and tactful;
Organized, methodical, discreet, high level of confidentiality and professionalism in carrying out duties;
Ability to work under pressure and manage several files simultaneously;
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented;
Work with minimal supervision and deal with people professionally
Efficient in working with Microsoft Office;
