Description

The Redvers Activity Centre is seeking a permanent full time Director of Employee Services.  Hours will be generally Mon-Fri, however some weekends and evening work is required. Must be willing to assume on-call duties as required.

General duties are:

-Overseeing medical care for approximately 30 residents.
-Providing behaviour support.
-Managing programming in all areas of the Agency.

Qualifications:

-Minimum of Disability Support Worker Certificate. Related post-secondary education and/or equivalent training and experience may be considered.
-Minimum three year supervisory experience and experience working with people with varying abilities.
-Effectively communicate verbally and in writing with individuals and groups.  
-Ability to coach and motivate staff.
-Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with a variety of personality types.
-Experience in scheduling work.
-Possesses a demonstrated ability to train and supervise others effectively and to provide employee feedback and coaching.
-Experience Supervising in a unionized environment.
