POSITION SUMMARY:
R&D Technician supports the engineering team by assembling and testing new products and providing technical support and feedback.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:  
- Support the engineering department by assembling new designs.
- Operate prototype equipment and help evaluate performance.
- Adjust, repair, and replace equipment, components, or systems.
- Assist with the investigation and diagnosing of faults and malfunctions of new and existing designs.
- Coordinate with Production to track/organize components for new designs through the manufacturing facilities and warehouse.
- Assist the engineering team as required.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of tools & equipment and experience with assembly, troubleshooting & repair of various mechanical systems.
- Experience operating agricultural equipment or other heavy-duty equipment is required.
- Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of current farming practices would be considered an asset.
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Must have good organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Must have a strong work ethic and be prepared to work within a strong team environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:  
- Agriculture machine manufacturing facility.
- Field visits and operation of equipment.
- Physical Demands.
