Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Food Prep Clerk/Cashier at our C-Store and Gas Bar location in La Ronge, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the La Ronge C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
Provide Legendary Service through various touch points and communication channels
Preparing store-made products according to established recipes and developing /costing new recipes
Ordering, receiving, and pricing merchandise
Completing production and maintenance records
Following all applicable food safety and labelling regulations
Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory; Follow FIFO
Maintaining a clean, safe food preparation environment at all times
Running reports and identifying market trends
Operation of the point of sale and back-office system
Assisting in all other areas of the store as required

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:
You are familiar with food safe procedures and practices; Food Safe Level 1 or equivalent would be considered an asset
Ability to lift and load products; extensive physical labour is required
You can work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
You have a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays
