Description

BGCS is on the lookout for Club Coordinator to lead the fun at one of our Neighbourhood Club site! This full-time position (35 hours per week) is a permanent position that is eligible for the full BGC Saskatoon benefits package. Club programs run from September to June and follow the school year calendar.  Club Coordinators may be offered summer employment as a Summer Day Camp Coordinator for the months of July and August each year
As a Club Coordinator, youll be the face of BGC Saskatoon, bringing our Mission and Vision Statements, Core Values, and Model for Success to life with a positive and professional attitude. Youll work during program times set by BGC Saskatoon and report directly to the Director of Youth Programs.
Responsibilities
    Create a safe and welcoming environment.
    Train and prepare Neighbourhood Club Program Leaders and volunteers to run awesome programs.
    Supervise and support Program Leaders and volunteers daily.
    Ensure program and child protection policies are followed.
    Gather input from participants to guide programming and evaluate group needs.
    Meet regularly and collaborate with Neighbourhood Club Program Leaders to keep the fun and quality high.
    Work with the Director of Youth Programs, Director of Operations, and other Club Coordinators to think
        strategically about program effectiveness.
    Plan and implement quality-enhancing programs
Qualifications
    Post-secondary education in a related field (preference given to Youth Care Workers,
    Minimum 2 years experience working with children and youth.
    Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
    High Five PHCD (training provided by BGCS within first 3 months of employment).
    Note: All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a Criminal Records Check
        and Vulnerable Sector Check prior to the first day of employment at the employees cost.
