Our client employer is a non-profit agency that provides supports for survivors of acquired brain injuries through the framework of leisure and recreation programs offered daily throughout the week.
Employer is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to organize and coordinate the day program in Regina by providing strategic guidance to staff and volunteers in order to promote the organization's culture and vision. The candidate would also oversee all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Regina day program which includes working with key community partners to ensure program delivery. Employee provides information and life skills support on an individual basis to brain injured individuals to help them safely reintegrate back into the community.
Applicants must have outstanding leadership, organizational, and communication skills as well as excellent problem-solving ability. Adaptability, a sense of humor, and patience is required. Arts and crafts experience an asset. Candidates with post-secondary education in the Human Services and/or Rehabilitation or experience working in a day care or long-term care facility preferred. A driver's license and vehicle is required. Candidates must pass a Criminal Record Check.
