Key Responsibilities:
Collision Repair Expertise: Knowledge and experience in auto body collision repair, including metalworking, welding, and refinishing processes, are essential.
Education and Certification: A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for Journeyperson or Red Seal Certification, and experience in the collision repair industry.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle systems and technology, including the ability to follow OEM repair procedures, conduct pre and post-scans, and calibrate modules.
Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and customers throughout the repair process.
Quality Work Ethic: Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality repairs and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Time Management: Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and efficiently plan and execute repair tasks.
Safety Compliance: Adherence to safety protocols, proper use of personal protective equipment, and compliance with hazardous material regulations.
Physical Capability: Capacity to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and conduct equipment audits to detect faults and ensure proper functionality.
Independent Work: Capability to follow complex instructions with minimal supervision while maintaining a positive attitude and work ethic.
Continuous Improvement: A goal-oriented mindset with a desire to stay at the forefront of the collision repair industry and collaborate with other technicians to enhance shop operations.
