As a Maintenance Worker with the Metis Addictions Council of Saskatchewan Inc. (MACSI), you will be responsible for performing routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on MACSI buildings, grounds, mechanical equipment, and utility systems. This position reports directly to the Regional Manager. Call in hours of work maybe between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, 16:30- 00:30am or 00:30-8:30am depending on need. This position is open to applicants of all genders.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Perform maintenance and minor repairs for building, vehicles, and equipment
-Preventative vehicle maintenance
-Clean and inspect boiler, and treat with proper chemicals
-Replace or install broken windows, repair doors, door locks, closets, window blinds
-Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment and maintenance procedures
-Operate a computer, which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems
-Install computer, phone, or internet cable
-Assists in building renovations, remodeling, repairs of plaster and drywall, and painting
-Perform general cleaning/custodial duties, emptying, and removing any garbage/recycling bins snow removal, raking or other minor landscaping
-Obtain estimates for supplies, repairs, parts etc.; order parts and/or services as instructed
-Ensure company vehicles are regularly fueled, cleaned, and maintained
