Description

Support Workers are an integral part of the Lovering Place Program staff team.  They guide, support and assist residents with their recovery goals and holistic wellness plans.  They are under the direct supervision of the Program Manager and work in consultation with the program ICMs and Nurse Team Leaders. The are responsible for providing services including helping with meals, medication, appointments, and planning/running programming. Ideal candidates will have experience working with homelessness and/or vulnerable people and will have good crisis de-escalation skills and a strong understanding of harm reduction and trauma-informed care. Must have a driver's license and valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
Shift work required, combination (one week of day shifts, one week of evening shifts Monday-Friday).
