Description

The Village of Codette is seeking an individual for a skilled maintenance worker.

Responsibilities:
- Wastewater operations with compliance reporting
   as set out by senior levels of government
- Maintenance and operation of municipality's
   infrastructure, buildings & equipment
- Road maintenance & draining issues
- Maintenance of grounds on village owned
   properties including cutting grass, weeding &
   pruning trees
- Maintenance of log books and records
- Act as the Village of Codette animal
   control/dog catcher

Skills & Abilities:
- Self-motivated
- Able to work independently
- Job task planning and organizing
- Problem solving
- Critical thinking
- Mechanically inclined

Qualifications:
- Valid class 5 Saskatchewan driver license
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic understanding of grounds maintenance and
   landscaping
- Ability to accept, comprehend and carry out
   verbal and written instructions
- Operate machinery
- Have a class 1 Wastewater Collection certification or Small
   Wastewater Systems certification or be willing to obtain
