Description

Do you want to  make a difference in your community?  If yes, Meadow Lake Housing Authority is looking for a Manager!  

Responsibilities include oversight and management of 224 properties, developing partnerships with various community agencies, and managing the annual budget.  In addition, you will ensure the tendering process and management of contracted services is in compliance with policies and guidelines, and you will provide leadership, guidance, and support to a dedicated and committed Board and fantastic team of six.  

To be considered for this full-time permanent position, you will have successfully completed an undergraduate degree in either business, social work, psychology, human services, or similar, and have a minimum of five years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, planning, and reporting to a board is preferred, along with some familiarity with the Residential Tenancies Act, National Building Code, tendering and contracting processes.

In addition to the above, you are a natural with people, and are able to resolve conflict. You can easily develop trusting relationships with all of your stakeholders, and you embrace diversity.  You have superb oral and written communication skills and are a whiz working with MS Office suite. A valid SK drivers' license is required, and an offer of employment is contingent on a clear enhanced criminal record check.
