The Business Manager is responsible to carry out all functions related to the business management standards in the Southeast Regional Library framework. They help ensure excellent and cost-effective library services by accurately managing all aspects of the accounting system, budget, and financial audit as well Headquarter facility management. They are responsible to manage the business office functions including accounting systems and reports, payroll, and regional financial operations. The position is a senior management position answering to and working closely with the Library Director or designate in all aspects of financial management for the region.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or a related field or an equivalent in experience; Experience in Finance and accounting including payroll; Human Resources knowledge an asset; strong management, fiduciary and supervisory skills; a working knowledge of library practices and procedures is an asset; superior interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills; superior oral and written communication skills; ability to sustain cooperative, productive relationships with staff; willingness to work outside regular business hours on occasion; must be able to provide a clean criminal record check; physical fitness allowing the lifting and moving of boxes of library materials up to 20kg.
