REQUIRES:
TEMPORARY GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKER



Under the general supervision of the immediate supervisor, the General Maintenance Worker performs a range of general maintenance functions on division properties, either assisting Journeyperson Trades or other personnel in the division or working alone in performing more specifically assigned duties of a maintenance or caretaking nature.
Applicants must possess Grade 12 or equivalent, plus a valid Saskatchewan driver's license, Saskatchewan Fifth Class engineers certificate or Firemans certificate. Preference will be given to individuals with the Fifth-Class certificate, past operator experience, or construction experience. The successful applicant will have demonstrated mechanical ability and be willing to take additional training as required to complete their assigned duties including training for the repair of asbestos. The ability to use maintenance software programs will be considered an asset. The ability to work at heights and to work with respirator if needed will be required.
