ROCHDALE FOOD REQUIRES AN ASSISTANT GROCERY MANAGER

Sherwood Co-operative Association Limited currently requires a full-time Assistant Grocery Manager for our Rochdale Food location.
DUTIES:
Demonstrate and promote Sherwood Co-operatives values of Teamwork, Pride, Service and Excellence consistently in attitude and action.
Work co-operatively with team members to deliver legendary service to make all guests and employees of our Co-op feel at home here.
Ensure standards of department presentation and operations are met, including cleanliness and sanitation, inventory control, purchasing, and the delivery of world-class customer service.
Assist the Store/Grocery Manager to prepare, administer, and achieve budgeted goals as it relates to the pricing, sales, margins, expenses, and inventory of the commodity. Assist the Store/Grocery Manager to develop, review, and obtain approval of annual operating budgets to ensure adherence and appropriate utilization of funds.
Assist the manager with growth of sales to improve profitability and make recommendations and assist with the overseeing of store pricing, promotions, and products.
Foster a positive work environment that promotes a strong culture of engagement within the department.
Assist the Store/Grocery Manager with leadership and direction to employees in accordance with company policies, procedures, programs, merchandising standards, and overall expectations.
Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and training of Team Members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Youre experienced in leading a team with a focus on customer service.
A minimum of three years of retail management experience in food.
Youre honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
