MLT Aikins is looking for an ambitious marketer who thrives in a fast-paced and relationship-driven environment. The Marketing Assistant provides support to our Events and Marketing Specialist, helping to ensure a consistent and exceptional event experience across all offices. The role will also provide onsite coordination at in-person events in Saskatchewan. The position is best suited to an individual who is highly organized, enjoys an autonomous approach to work and is driven to produce high-quality client experiences.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Business Development and Solution Delivery, this full-time permanent position will be based in Regina or Saskatoon but primarily works remotely with regular in-office attendance and unless working at an event. Some travel to our events will be required and work in the evenings to support events.
Responsibilities Include:
* Providing administrative and co-ordination support for all in-person, hybrid and virtual events firm wide, including industry and practice-specific seminars and workshops, client appreciation receptions, recruitment events and community-sponsored events
* Co-ordinating all aspects of an event from planning through execution, including planning and managing the event calendar, developing recommendations for event formats, budgeting, site selection, event promotions, vendor management, on-site logistics, post-event communications and debrief reports and recommendations
* Working with the broader marketing team to develop event promotions through online and print tactics
* Helping develop invitation lists and managing the invitation process, ensuring key clients and leads are included
* Developing event debriefs and providing reporting on event metrics
* Ensuring event administration is completed, including financial tracking, invoice payments, credit card reconciliation, etc.
* Helping ensure all events contribute to the firms broader business development and growth goals
