Description

The Executive Director is the key management leader of Estevan Public Youth Centre (EPYC). The Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the organization. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

The Executive Director is responsible for fulfilling EPYCs mission through programming, strategic planning, and community outreach. The Executive Director oversees and implements appropriate resources to ensure that the operations of the organization are appropriate, such as managing volunteers, staff, planning nightly programs, and general administration duties of EPYC. As well, the Executive Director is responsible for fundraising, sponsorship, grant applications, and developing other revenues necessary to support EPYCs mission and future.

Actual Job Responsibilities
Report to and work closely with the Board of Directors to seek their involvement in policy decisions, fundraising and to increase the overall visibility of the organization.
Supervise, collaborate with organization staff and volunteers.
Supervise youth during drop-in hours.
Implementation of strategic plans and development of programming.
Work with the board of directors to plan and execute operation of the annual budget.
Serve as Estevan Public Youth Centres primary spokesperson to the organizations constituents, the media and the general public.
Establish and maintain relationships with various organizations.
Engage in fundraising, grant applications and developing other revenues.
Oversee marketing and other communications efforts.
Attend organization board meetings.
Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
