Description

We are looking for a responsible, efficient and organized person to help with day-to-day reception, clerical support & medical transportation for in-town & out-of-town travel arrangements to help our clients of LLRIB. The successful candidate will also be responsible for Informing and educating the band membership of the First Nations and Inuit Health (FNIH) roles and responsibilities of patient transportation assistance along with the clients responsibilities when they require assistance for medical travel. Duties:
Provide general office functions: incoming calls, typing, maintain filing system, operating office equipment, coordinate & distribute mail & supplies, appointment bookings;
Participate in scheduled staff meetings, record, type and distribute minutes;
Maintain adequate general office supply inventory for the Medical Transportation Call Centre;
Preparing necessary forms, certificates and medical attendance, transportation warrants and distributes copies as necessary;
Coordinating the medical transportation to ensure maximum economy and efficiency;
Informing and education the Band Membership of the First Nations and Inuit Health (FNIH) role and responsibilities of patient transportation assistance and client responsibilities when medical travel assistance is required;
Coordinating appointments with attending Physicians clinics;
Assist clients with making appointments as necessary;
Prepare month-end reports and monthly inventory reports;

Qualifications:
Minimum Certificate in Administration; Combination of education and relevant experience may be considered;
Proficiency in software applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are essential;
Able to work within multidisciplinary team;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Must have valid Class 5 Drivers License;
