Description

The Liquor Associates role is instrumental to the customer service relationship and the enhancement of the overall customers shopping experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-Upholds the Co-operatives standard for guest service excellence and will be expected to resolve customer concerns within established guidelines.
- Understands products and services we offer to promote the sale of goods and services to meet the needs, requirements and expectations of our customer
- Efficiently operate the point-of-sale system and conduct financial transactions in adherence with Gateway Co-op policies.
- Understands and adheres to Gateway Co-op policies and procedures, in particular adhering to the selling age restricted items policy.
- Performing all aspects of the role functions including but not limited to; stocking, building displays and facing in an efficient and organized manner. Ensures display presentations and proper stock levels are maintained with respect to inventory on hand.
- Performs general cleanup duties such as spills, display fixtures and washrooms to ensure a neat and organized location.
- Any other duties needed to help to drive Gateway Co-ops vision and abide by our co-operatives values of responsibility, respect and excellence.
CERTIFICATIONS, TRAINING & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 19 years of age or older.
- Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated.
- Preference will be given to those who possess enhanced knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain Serve It Right (Saskatchewan) certification.
