Here are the main job duties for the Food Shift Supervisor at our Dairy Queen Restaurant:
- Supervise and check assembly of regular and special diet trays and delivery of food trolleys to hospital patients in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Establish work schedules and procedures in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef according to requests from dieticians, patients in hospitals, or other customers in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- May plan cafeteria menus and determine related food and labor costs in our Dairy Queen restaurant
- May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures, and budgets in our Dairy Queen restaurant.
