The Central Saskatchewan Military Family Resource Inc. (CSMFRC) is a non-profit Childcare Centre located on 17 Wing Detachment Dundurn. We are dedicated to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

We are currently looking for a Full Time Cook for our Childcare Centre. If you love working in fast-paced environment, are a self-starter and can work well independently then we want to hear from you.

Role & Responsibilities:
* Practice food safety at all times regarding food preparation and cleaning procedures.
* Preparing Ministry of Education approved healthy meals & snacks for Childcare Centers according to the menus provided.
* Cleaning childcare kitchen, dishes and food storage areas according to Public Health Standards.
* Handling and organizing food delivery; may include lifting up to 40lbs.
* Maintain accurate food order sheets and inventory lists.
* Communicate ongoing Food Services needs to the Childcare Director and/or designate.
* Comply with all CFMFRC Policies and Procedures
* Interact with children as required.
* Assist with coverall cleaning duties of the Childcare Centre
* Any other duties as assigned by the Director and/or designate.

Job Requirements:
* Must have valid class 5 drivers license and have personal vehicle for transportation.
* Food service or related experience is an asset.
* Canadian Food safe level 1 (preferred)
* Criminal Record Check (CRC) including vulnerable sector check, dated within 3 months of hire(required)

Applicants that have Early Childhood Education Level I, II, or III are eligible to receive additional $5.50/hr to $8.50/hr top up to starting wages through the current government wage enhancement grant.
