Description

**Lucky Lake is located 157 km (1 hr 45 mins) from Saskatoon International Airport YXE. Applicants must be willing to relocate to Lucky Lake, SK. Must be currently authorized to work in Canada to apply for this job.*

Little Prairie Daycare Inc. is a non-profit daycare in the community of Lucky Lake, SK., that provides childcare for children between the ages of 18 months to 12 years.

We are currently looking for a Program Director who is a professional, mature, friendly individual that enjoys working with children to join our team.

Responsibilities:
Provide high quality child care that meets the diverse needs of each child
Promote physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of the children in care
Obtain knowledge of licensing and Ministry of Education regulations
Ensure a safe, nurturing, and caring play environment
Coordinate all administrative functions of the daycare
Facilitate communication with families, staff and the community through the daycare website and other means of social media
Curriculum development, activity planning, field trip planning, special event planning
Oversee meal plans and activities
Manage staff, scheduling, hiring and training
Respect confidentiality of parents, children and other staff members
Understand child development and behaviour

Requirements:
Early Childhood Education diploma (ECE Level III) or willingness to obtain
Valid first aid certificate/CPR-C or willingness to obtain
Safe food handling certificate or willingness to obtain
Current criminal record check including a vulnerable sector check.
Excellent Communication Skills
Confident with word document, spreadsheets and other computer work
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Proven ability to work closely with other team members
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada with a valid driver's license


Operational Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
