Description

We are hiring enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Pet Planet Prince Albert. Days, evenings and weekend shifts available. If you have a passion for animals, excellent customer service skills, and a willingness to learn about small animal nutrition, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their small animal nutrition needs, including recommending appropriate products and providing nutritional advice
Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
Receive, stock, and rotate inventory
Assist with occasional weekend shifts as required
Lift, carry, and rotate loads of at least 40 lbs
Qualifications:
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
Knowledge or interest in small animal nutrition is a plus
Previously or currently pursuing a degree, and/ or an accredited certification in nutrition, health sciences, veterinary care, homeopathic medicine, or related fields would be an asset
Must be mature, reliable, and punctual
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Open availability during weekdays for day and evening shifts
Ability to work occasional weekend shifts
