Description

Hello! I am looking for a casual/part-time candy maker to lead caramel production at our candy kitchen in Riversdale, Saskatoon.

This is for someone who likes baking better than cooking, who thinks tinkering with equipment is a good time, and who likes working independently.

You get:
- $18/hour
- Experience working with vintage candy equipment.
- Learn how to run a food production line.
- Flexible scheduling.

You give:
- Physical labor.
- Working quickly while taking care of small details.

This individual will be responsible for cooking, wrapping, packaging caramel, packing orders, troubleshooting production issues, and keeping the facility clean and tidy.

You will also be involved in packaging and labeling jars of honey.

Most of the time you will work alone, except during busy periods when we need to ramp up production.

This position is casual/part-time, with increased hours during the holiday season. Hours can vary from 16 to 35/week depending on production schedule.
