Description

We are looking for a responsible and energetic high school student to join our childcare center team. This role involves helping with the daily care and supervision of children, providing support to staff, and ensuring a safe and fun environment for the children. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working with children and develop key skills in communication, teamwork, and childcare.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist childcare staff in supervising children during activities, meals, and playtime.
Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as games, arts and crafts, and storytelling.
Help maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas, classrooms, and outdoor spaces.
Monitor children's safety and ensure they are following childcare center rules.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing atmosphere.
Follow all childcare center policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.

Requirements:
Must be a current high school student (minimum age: 16).
Ability to work part-time after school hours.
Passion for working with children and a desire to learn more about childcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, reliable, and able to remain calm in busy environments.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene in a childcare setting.
