Battlefords Interval House help women and children move beyond intimate partner violence by providing safe shelter, education and support services. Our services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our team is dedicated to empowering women by providing them with the best support possible.

Accountabilities:
Provides support to women and their children.
Assesses clients' immediate needs.
Assists clients to develop a case plan.
Assists clients in locating and utilizing community resources including housing, financial assistance, employment, legal, transportation, childcare, and more.
Completes client documentation and statistical reporting.
Offers 1 to 1 support with clients.
Offers educational group support with clients.
Cleaning, sanitizing and set-up of client room after discharge.
Maintains a high standard of health and safety procedures.
Ensures confidentiality.
Participates in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience in a related human service field is considered an asset.
Minimum education: grade 12 or GED.
Knowledge of interpersonal violence and crisis intervention strategies
Knowledge of diverse cultural values, beliefs and practices.
Knowledge of community resources in the Battlefords area.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Hours of Work:
Shift work - monthly 8 & 12 hour rotating shifts
