Competencies
1. University degree in Business or Public Administration or Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration with demonstrated experience in the PIEM Court Services and/or Data Quality, or Health Information Professional designation.
2. Thorough understanding of the court system, court documents (Warrants, Recognizance, Undertakings, Informations, etc.). Minimum three years experience working with relevant RPS information systems.
3. Good knowledge of the Criminal Code and Federal, Provincial and Municipal Statutes and bylaws. Good knowledge of charge precedents.
4. Good knowledge of reporting and report flow procedures.
5. Good written skills and the ability to clearly communicate to investigators report requirements or additional work required.
6. Excellent communication and coaching skills. The ability to demonstrate to others what is required.
7. Organization skills and the ability to coordinate work schedules and time for maximum efficiency and productivity.
8. Tenacity and the ability to process detailed, time consuming and tedious work with attention to detail.
9. Typing ability (minimum 50 w.p.m.).
10. The ability to utilize Windows based software. Excellent working knowledge of business process of the RPS. The ability to do basic word processing and information searches utilizing electronic information systems.
11. Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
