Description

In this position, you'll be at the heart of advancing excellence within our Integrated Management System (IMS). You'll guide the development and coordination of Safety, Health, Environment and Regulatory Relations (SHERR) training and awareness materials while communicating essential policies, objectives, and audit results. You'll engage in field inspections and support a variety of projects with communication plans, all while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. What you'll accomplish:
-Assist with the Exploration Department Integrated Management System (IMS) including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
-Help convey key elements of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, including policies, objectives, targets, significant environmental aspects/hazards, and audits/inspections results
-Develop and coordinate SHERR training, records, and communications
-Assist with reporting to regulatory agencies and other departments (ie. safety statistics, CSR reporting)
-Perform field inspections
-Support projects as needed, including; developing communication plans, setting up devices, addressing project risks, ordering necessary safety supplies, and monitoring radiation
-Perform review of environmental legislation/requirements

Qualities and skills:
-Bachelors Degree preferred (Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Geology or similar)
-Familiar with conducting audits and the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
-One to three years relevant experience
-Proficient with Microsoft Office
-Familiarity with the relevant regulations (federal and provincial) and standards (ISO 14001/45001) is an asset

Work Location & Schedule:  
-Saskatoon Corporate Office
-Frequent field inspections and audits (exploration and mine sites) including third party sites
